| Description: | There is a part time position in Rock Valley, Iowa. Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights every other weekend.
Orange City also has a FT and PT overnight positions open.
Niessink Home (Adolescent Home) has a PT Overnight position open. |
| Duties: | Duties and Responsibilties
1. Assist in developing an environment that maximizes each persons choice and ability to complete all their daily routines and living skills.
1. Provide support and training to individuals as identified in the service plan.
2. Ensure individuals physical and mental needs are being cared for.
3. Assure accurate documentation and filing according to agency and program policies.
General Responsibilites
1. Assure accurate documentation and filing according to agency and program policies.
2. Promote positive communication and working relationships with all team members and community.
3. Refer to the “Emergency Calling List” in case of an emergency or serious problem for individuals.
4. Carry out requests or other responsibilities as assigned by the Residential Specialist/Coordinator or Residential Manger.
5. Attend monthly in-services.
6. Attend staff meetings as requested.
7. Follow all safety procedures and promote safety measures among team and clients.
8. Regular and reliable attendance is required.
9. Assist with tasks as assigned by supervisor.
10. Make apartment checks in individual apartments.
11. Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks in the setting as outlined on the cleaning maintenance schedule.
12. Prior to 12:00 Midnight, insure the appropriate doors are locked.
13. In case of snow overnight, (In Hope Haven owned/operated buildings) assure that snow removal is completed on the sidewalks, in areas of entry, spreading sand/salt as needed

| Qualifications: | QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School graduate or GED; BA degree or experience in Human Service Field preferred.
2. Ability and willingness to complete agency’s RA course and Med Manager course.
3. Good interpersonal/communication skills.
4. Ability to organize work and carry out written and verbal instructions.
5. Up-to date physical.
6. Clearance from criminal history and abuse reporting
7. Negative drug screening |
